Ibda’a Condemns the
Israeli Military
The Israeli Military
invaded Ibda’a Cultural Center’s main building in the early morning hours of
September 23rd, 2019.
Bethlehem, Palestine – The
Administration of Ibda'a Cultural Center in Dheisheh Refugee Camp denounces the
barbaric raid of the Zionist occupation army on its main building earlier this
morning, including the destruction of the main doors of the institution and
some of its property.
According to the Center's administration, this
is the sixth time that the Zionist forces have attacked the facilities of the
institution, and recklessly destroyed its property. This building houses both
the day care and the nursery for young children.
In one such raid, Israeli forces stole computers,
files, meeting records, etc. and did not return them despite taking them to
court to force them to return the stolen property.
Ibda’a Cultural Center calls on all human rights
and humanitarian institutions to support us in confronting these repeated
attacks and to stand by the institution in their legal battle against ongoing
violations.
