Sports trainers
interested in being part in Ibdaa- Dheisheh refugee camp sports club are
welcome to apply and contact us requiring more information. Ibdaa sports club was
able to compete and exceed on a national level, through the various sports
teams from both genders despite the political and social difficulties, and be a
recognized club on a national and regional level.
The Sport Club
Ibdaa’s sport
club includes 200 members of different ages and genders who practice a range of
sports. The Club elects its board periodically under the supervision of the
Higher Council for Youth and Sports.

Activities and Achievements:
- · Men’s Basketball: Ibdaa has an outstanding team that
won seven tournaments out of 12 organized by the Palestinian Basketball Union.
It also secured the second position in the Jordanian Arab Solidarity Tournament
and came out victorious in most contests.
- · Women’s Volleyball: the first of its kind to originate
is the first team in refugee camps in the Middle East. It has won most national
tournaments it has participated in since 2005 and has also represented
Palestine in international championships.
- · Table Tennis team for men: the only team in Bethlehem
in the Premier League.
- · The Sport Schools: training schools for kids aged10-14
years in all games (football, basketball, and volleyball) hundreds of kids
benefit from it. It cooperates with many institutions including Khatwat
institution (PACES) and the FSGT (French General Federation of Sports).

The volunteering
vacancy will include the following responsibilities:

Trainings for the men’s basketball team.

Training for the football academy, for children aged
between 12- 14 years old
- ·
Training for the youth basketball team
